Being the first review, I thought it fitting to start off as I would start my day of, with a breakfast coffee! I can’t say too much on this coffee (also making it a great one to start on), the reason for this is that it is average. The whole way across the board this coffee pulls the average mark at every point, this is the average Joe of coffee.
The taste is smooth yet not too rich in flavour, making it easy to drink yet not giving you a fulfilling feeling of a good tasting coffee. It is not to bitter meaning you don’t get that hit when you’re drinking it, although when you finish or if you stop drinking for any length of time you get this bitter after taste that lingers.
The aroma, this was hard to distinguish and I actually thought that it might divide my opinion on this but alas I was wrong. This coffee once you open the bag smells great so amazing and beautiful to the senses and I’m not going to deny taking some big sniffs and rolling my eyes in joy, although once you start the pour of water and filtering of the ground coffee from the pure coffee this smell quickly starts to vanish.
To put it in perspective if you put your nose to your coffee right now (if your drinking one) and smell you should get a tasteful smell that makes you just want to take a lovely sip, for me doing that right now doesn’t fill me with that feeling. I don’t get any urge of the coffee to just want to stick my face in it and take a big mouthful, and this is where it drops for me. I want, every time I go to take a sip, to smell the coffee long before it even gets close to my lips and the smell alone make me want to take a mouthful. Although with all that aside, I love this coffee it is great, you can drink this constantly throughout the day without getting sick of it.
I think that’s enough rambling, before I go on to the all-important BEAN ratings. Im just going to say I will be posting every Sunday and occasionally Wednesday. I hope everyone enjoys them and keeps up to date. Now for the BEAN ratings!
